Database Architect II

Education:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.

-Additional coursework or specialization in database systems, data management, or cloud technologies is advantageous.

Required Skills and Work Experience:

2–3 years experience in database architecture, DBA, or data engineering roles

Expert-level SQL skills (query optimization, execution plans, indexing strategies, partitioning)

Deep experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

Strong experience in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and scalability design

Experience in high availability solutions (replication, clustering, failover, load balancing)

Strong knowledge of data modeling (logical, physical, conceptual at enterprise scale)

Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL)

Experience implementing data security frameworks (encryption, masking, RBAC, compliance standards)

Exposure to ETL pipelines, data warehousing, or big data architecture is highly preferred
