Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced DBA to own the day-to-day reliability, performance, and security of our production SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments. You'll design and maintain database systems, implement high availability and disaster recovery, and work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to keep systems stable and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
- Monitoring and maintaining the performance, security, and availability of databases
- Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
- Maintaining database documentation
- Developing and maintaining data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
- Upgrading / migrating databases to the latest supported version.
- Collaborating with software developers, systems engineers, and other IT professionals
- Staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies
- Proficiency in DB clustering and replication is a must
- Design, implement, and operate HA/DR configuration
Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on DBA experience in production SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- Experience with high availability / DR configuration for SQL Server and PostgreSQL
