Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage SQL Server instances across client environments
• Monitor and optimize database performance to meet SLAs
• Implement security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
• Analyze performance issues and implement tuning strategies
• Collaborate with clients to refine database design and optimize SQL queries
• Provide technical presentations, solution recommendations, and training
• Support multi-server deployments and integration with client IT systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in MS SQL Server Database Administration
• Experience with High Availability solutions (Failover Cluster, AlwaysOn Availability Groups)
• Strong skills in database backup, recovery, and patching
• Proficiency in SQL Server performance tuning and optimization
• Experience with cloud database platforms, especially Azure SQL Database
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability for simple to complex issues
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
