Job Description

Experience & Competencies

Technical Expertise

  • Database Management: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on DBA experience
  • Oracle Specialist: Proven expertise in Oracle e-Business Suite and Oracle databases, including versions 19c and 23ai.
  • MS SQL Specialist: Demonstrated success in managing MS SQL Server 2019 and 2022.
  • High Availability: Strong knowledge of clustering technologies, specifically Oracle RAC and SQL Server AlwaysOn.
  • Optimization & Recovery: Extensive experience in performance tuning, data replication, disaster recovery, and high availability.
  • Platform Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of Red Hat Linux and Windows Server environments.
  • Monitoring Tools: Proficiency with enterprise tools such as Oracle OEM, Spotlight, and AppDynamics.

Operational & Cloud Leadership

  • Cloud Migration: Experience migrating on-premise databases to cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
  • Automation: Skilled in creating automation solutions using Unix shell scripting, Windows PowerShell, and Ansible.
  • Incident Management: Capable of effectively managing outages and major incidents in high-pressure, agile environments.
  • Frameworks: Familiarity with ITIL standards and delivering analytics/reporting solutions.
  • Project Delivery: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Work Schedule

Employees will be expected to adhere to a flexible hybrid work schedule, with a required presence in the office for 1 day per week, allowing for customization of work hours within a specified morning or mid-shift time frame.
