Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions.
- Build and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using AWS services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, and Snowflake.
- Perform data transformation and modeling using DBT (Data Build Tool).
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
- Manage and support databases including PostgreSQL and Athena.
- Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and Tableau.
- Develop automation scripts and data processing solutions using Python.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data-related issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and provide guidance on best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and performance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Developer or similar role.
- Strong experience with AWS services for ETL and data warehousing (AWS Glue, Lambda, Snowflake, etc.).
- Experience in data transformation using DBT.
- Proficient in PostgreSQL and Athena.
- Skilled in Power BI and Tableau for reporting and dashboard development.
- Strong Python programming and development skills.
- Excellent SQL and data modeling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- With leadership skills and experience handling or guiding a team is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with cloud-based data architecture and big data technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering.
- AWS or relevant cloud certifications are an advantage.
