Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions.
  • Build and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using AWS services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, and Snowflake.
  • Perform data transformation and modeling using DBT (Data Build Tool).
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
  • Manage and support databases including PostgreSQL and Athena.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and Tableau.
  • Develop automation scripts and data processing solutions using Python.
  • Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data-related issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and performance standards.

Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Developer or similar role.
  • Strong experience with AWS services for ETL and data warehousing (AWS Glue, Lambda, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Experience in data transformation using DBT.
  • Proficient in PostgreSQL and Athena.
  • Skilled in Power BI and Tableau for reporting and dashboard development.
  • Strong Python programming and development skills.
  • Excellent SQL and data modeling skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • With leadership skills and experience handling or guiding a team is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based data architecture and big data technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering.
  • AWS or relevant cloud certifications are an advantage.
