Job Title: Data Visualization Sr Analyst/AVP Experience: 5-13 Years Qualification BE / B. Tech / M. Tech - Computer Engineering Role & Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
Analyze and integrate data from multiple disparate systems using data virtualization platforms to enable seamless data access and analysis.
Design and implement data mesh and data fabric architectures to support decentralized data ownership, governance, and scalable data access across the organization.
Perform federated queries to retrieve and analyze data from multiple distributed data sources efficiently.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define user and business personas, ensuring that data solutions align with business requirements and deliver measurable value.
Work closely with business users and technical teams to translate functional requirements into technical designs for successful implementation and deployment.
Develop and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load large volumes of structured and unstructured data into AWS data lakes, Snowflake, and other cloud-based data warehouses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prototypes, develop design artifacts, implement components, and support SIT and UAT testing, including issue triaging and bug resolution.
Optimize and enhance data pipelines to improve performance, scalability, and reliability of data processing workflows.
Implement data quality and validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across data platforms.
Provide analytical and technical expertise to design business intelligence and data integration solutions that support reporting and advanced analytics.
Convert data integration models and technical design specifications into high-quality, maintainable source code.
Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of data integration systems to meet evolving business and analytical needs.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience working with data virtualization, data mesh, data fabric, and federated querying platforms such as Denodo, Starburst, or other open-source solutions.
5+ years of experience as a Report Visualization Engineer using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Axiom, or similar reporting tools, with end-to-end delivery experience.
3+ years of experience in implementing regulatory reporting solutions, preferably within the banking or financial services domain.
3+ years of experience in data modeling, data governance frameworks, and Row-Level Security (RLS) implementation.
3+ years of experience in enterprise deployment strategies, including migration of reports from legacy platforms to modern reporting and analytics platforms.
Hands-on experience in ETL development, extracting, transforming, and loading large volumes of structured and unstructured data into AWS data lakes or modern data platforms such as Snowflake.
Experience supporting Data Management Engineering teams in areas such as data pipeline engineering, data services, data access engineering, ETL, and BI design frameworks.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, database design principles, and ETL best practices.
Experience working with data lakes, data warehouses, and distributed data processing systems.
Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance practices in cloud environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize and enhance data pipelines and Spark jobs for performance and scalability.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments.
Relevant certifications in Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, or Starburst are considered an advantage.
Experience with Regulatory Reporting tools such as Axiom will be an added advantage.
Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
