Data Scientist

We are inviting applications for the role of Data Scientist to join our team in the Philippines. This role is central to designing and developing AI/ML models that accelerate the delivery of business value across Chevron's operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML models and optimization algorithms to solve complex business challenges
• Apply advanced statistics, mathematics, and data science methodologies (supervised & unsupervised learning)
• Collaborate with AI Technical Managers, data engineers, and domain experts to integrate models into enterprise platforms
• Identify and frame data science opportunities to improve decisionmaking, workflows, and automation
• Perform data cleaning, exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and visualization
• Define and manage endtoend model lifecycle management
• Communicate data insights and model behavior clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Provide technical mentoring in analytics and modeling techniques
• Drive innovation in AI/ML and continuously adapt to evolving tools and technologies

Required Skills & Experience:

• 510 years of experience designing and developing AI/ML models
• Strong foundation in mathematics, probability, and statistics
• Handson experience with Python
• Working knowledge of cloud AI/ML services (Azure Machine Learning, Databricks preferred)
• Proven ability to frame business problems into data science solutions
• Experience in EDA, visualization, model development, and evaluation
• Ability to assess current state data and apply analytics across crossfunctional workflows
• Strong track record of delivering solutions meeting quality, schedule, and business objectives

Domain Knowledge (Preferred):

• Experience in the energy sector or complex industrial domains
• Familiarity with upstream, midstream, or downstream business workflows
