The Data Scientist will work with a cross-functional team to uncover solutions using data in order to increase revenue, reduce costs, improve quality and performance, and manage risks while ensuring compliance with applicable regulation, laws, or internal guidelines of the bank.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate the data science lifecycle from data collection to model deployment in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and partners
- Utilize a variety of modeling tools, statistical analysis, and artificial algorithms including Machine Learning and Deep Learning in developing solutions and reliable and risk-free models to guide business decision-making and implementation
- Articulate results of analytical models and recommendations on business plans and strategies, product offering, policies, and financials across different community cohorts to stakeholders
- Develop engines that synergize and optimize decisioning from product scores, propensity scores, profitability scores, cost, among other variables.
- Analyze, aggregate, and understand costumer behaviors, preferences, and profitability through supervised and unsupervised data science techniques to inform business strategies and decisions, product offerings, and interventions.
Who You Are
- Experience in a role focusing on data science, business analytics, and marketing optimization in banking and financial services or related industry
- Has knowledge of developing analytical and implementation frameworks and designing tests
- Has knowledge of R or Python, Power BI or Tableau, and Machine Learning
- Has excellent organizational, communication, presentation, project management and analytical skills
- Master's degree in Data Science/Analytics or relevant certifications, preferred
