Summary: As a Data Science Practitioner, a typical day involves designing and implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning frameworks that support informed decision-making processes. This role includes evaluating the effectiveness of these solutions and ensuring they align with business objectives. Collaboration with various teams to integrate these models into practical applications is a key part of daily activities, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data science initiatives with organizational goals. - Document methodologies and findings clearly to support knowledge sharing within the team. - Assist in mentoring junior team members to build collective expertise. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Data Science. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Generative AI. - Strong foundation in statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques. - Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. - Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in data science such as Python or R. - Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
