Data Quality Support Analyst
Full Remote | Night Shift | 1-year Contract
About the Role:
The Retail Data Operations team is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of quality and accurate Retailer sales data. This role involves proactively monitoring, analyzing, executing, tracking, measuring, and reporting on data quality issues. Success is measured by the successful ingestion and publishing of complete, high-quality client data resulting in high client engagement, cooperation, and ongoing participation with the company.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the verification of data through a custom application
• Continually ensure adherence to data quality standards
• Resolve all data exceptions promptly to ensure there's not a negative impact downstream
• Help to identify the root cause of data quality errors and collaborate with team members to resolve them
• Provide recommendations on process improvements to enhance overall data quality
Qualifications:
• Experience in Data Quality, Data Analysis, and/or Data Management covering:
o Data profiling
o Data discovery
o Root cause analysis
• Strong attention to detail even during periods of repetitious or manual tasks
• Effective time management in a fast-paced environment with daily deliverables
• Team player who works collaboratively and provides support to transfer technical and data knowledge to peers
• Ability to pick up on relevant context easily, and learn new tools and processes quickly
