The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for supporting the sales development function by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of CRM data. The role involves cleansing and enriching prospect and account information, performing online research, and conducting profiling or verification calls as needed.
Job Description:
• Clean, update, and enrich CRM data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Standardize data formats (e.g., phone numbers, addresses, company names) across CRM records.
• Research and fill missing data points such as contacts, job titles, and company details using verified online sources.
• Verify whether existing accounts in CRM are active and identify duplicates or invalid records.
• Add new leads or prospect accounts sourced from online research or other validated channels.
• Maintain and update Salesforce and related spreadsheets for data cleaning and reporting.
• Conduct profiling or validation calls to confirm company or contact information when online data is unavailable.
• Support the sales and marketing team in data preparation for campaigns and lead management activities.
• Identify trends or recurring data issues and recommend improvements to ensure long-term CRM data health.
• Ensure compliance with company data policies, quality standards, and security protocols.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience working with CRM systems or in data entry/data quality capacity.
• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in outbound communication (customer service, tele-research, lead verification, or inside sales support) with a demonstrated ability to gather accurate information.
• Experience using any CRM platform.
• Analytical skills and keen attention to detail in validating and updating CRM data.
• Conduct accurate online research to verify and enrich company and contact information.
• Has background doing data governance standards (naming conventions, deduplication, formatting).
• Handles high volumes of data with speed and accuracy.
• Demonstrates reliability and accountability in managing assigned data or research tasks.
• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English, for accurate documentation and professional client communication.
• Prior experience using Salesforce is a plus.
• Conducts verification or profiling calls with prospective clients preferred.
