Role Description The Data Procurement Executive will manage end-to-end data purchasing and sourcing activities to support InfoBay.AI's AI development and research initiatives. This full-time, on-site role is based in Lucknow and involves identifying and evaluating data vendors, negotiating pricing and terms, and preparing and tracking purchase orders. The role includes coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and maintaining accurate records of purchases and contracts. The Data Procurement Executive will also monitor delivery timelines, assess data quality, analyze procurement performance, and recommend process improvements to optimize cost, efficiency, and reliability.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes, purchase orders, and purchase management, preferably in a data, technology, or SaaS-driven environment.
  • Proficient analytical skills to evaluate vendor offerings, compare costs and benefits, and support data-driven procurement decisions.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, negotiate with vendors, and document procurement activities clearly.
  • Experience with basic procurement tools or ERP systems, vendor management, and contract coordination is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain are a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple concurrent requests while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and licensing considerations in data procurement is an advantage.
