Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and perform daily data processing activities to support ground improvement operations.
  • Develop, maintain, and update project databases based on daily production records and site progress.
  • Prepare and maintain machinery utilization records and manpower timesheets.
  • Establish and manage databases for all geotechnical and ground improvement data generated throughout project execution.
  • Assist engineering staff in conducting routine analyses and calculations by compiling relevant data and performing required checks under the supervision of a Geotechnical Engineer.
  • Support document control activities by maintaining and updating registers, records, and project documentation for the Geotechnical Engineering and Ground Improvement teams.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards to support the efficient functioning of the Ground Improvement Department.
  • Prepare accurate reports and provide timely information to management regarding project performance, productivity, delays, incidents, and work forecasts.
  • Coordinate communication between the Ground Improvement Operations Team and supporting departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, databases, and data-processing tools to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements, procedures, and company standards.
  • Identify, resolve, and troubleshoot issues affecting data processing and reporting functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, process, validate, and integrate project-related data.
  • Process and verify operational and technical information before forwarding it to the appropriate personnel for review and approval.
  • Implement and promote best practices, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives within data management and processing activities.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company policies, operational procedures, occupational health & safety requirements, and environmental and quality standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support operational and project needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma in Engineering, Information Technology, Data Management, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the construction, ground improvement, geotechnical, marine, or related industry.
  • Experience in dredging, ground improvement, and marine civil projects is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, data analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Experience in database management, data validation, and technical reporting.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and digital reporting platforms is an advantage.
