The role combines data analytics, Lean Six Sigma, and process improvement to identify opportunities, uncover root causes, and lead measurable improvement initiatives, including Green Belt and Black Belt projects. The ideal candidate is a strong data-driven problem solver with Six Sigma Black Belt expertise, with Master Black Belt-level capability highly preferred, who can translate complex data into meaningful insights for leadership and, eventually, Pinnacle's clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analytics & Business Insights

  • Analyze operational, quality, productivity, customer, and business performance data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into clear, meaningful, and actionable business insights for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Develop recurring and ad hoc analytics, dashboards, scorecards, and management reports to support business decision-making.
  • Identify leading and lagging indicators that can provide better visibility into operational performance.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Workforce, Product, Technology, and other functions to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear, concise, and business-oriented manner.
  • Eventually develop analytics and insights that can be leveraged in client business reviews, performance discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Continuous Improvement & Process Excellence

  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, quality, productivity, cost, customer experience, and overall operational performance.
  • Conduct process analysis, root-cause analysis, and gap assessments using data and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies to evaluate and improve business processes.
  • Facilitate process mapping, value-stream analysis, Pareto analysis, fishbone analysis, FMEA, statistical analysis, and other appropriate improvement tools.
  • Develop data-backed recommendations and improvement plans with clearly defined expected business impact.
  • Establish measurement frameworks to validate whether implemented improvements are producing sustainable results.
  • Monitor improvement initiatives and ensure gains are sustained through appropriate controls and performance monitoring.

3. Six Sigma Project Development & Leadership

  • Proactively identify and qualify potential Green Belt and Black Belt projects across Pinnacle.
  • Work with functional leaders to prioritize projects based on business impact, feasibility, customer impact, and strategic alignment.
  • Support project teams in defining problem statements, objectives, scope, baselines, KPIs, and expected benefits.
  • Coach and guide Green Belt and Black Belt project teams in applying appropriate Six Sigma methodologies and analytical techniques.
  • Participate in or lead DMAIC projects from Define through Control, depending on project complexity.
  • Help establish a pipeline of continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Track project progress, realized benefits, and overall contribution to business performance.

4. Leadership Reporting & Decision Support

  • Develop regular executive-level insights highlighting key performance trends, opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Move beyond reporting historical performance by identifying why it happened, what is likely to happen, and what should we do next.
  • Establish standardized analytical approaches and reporting methodologies across relevant business functions.
  • Support leadership in making data-driven decisions related to operations, staffing, quality, productivity, customer experience, and business performance.

5. Client Analytics & Value Creation

  • Support the development of analytical insights that can eventually be presented to Pinnacle clients.
  • Identify operational trends and improvement opportunities that demonstrate Pinnacle's impact and value.
  • Assist in preparing data-driven materials for client business reviews and performance discussions.
  • Help translate operational improvements into measurable business outcomes and client-facing value propositions.

6. Analytics & Process Improvement Capability Building

  • Promote a data-driven and continuous improvement culture across Pinnacle.
  • Help educate stakeholders on data interpretation, root-cause analysis, process improvement, and Six Sigma concepts.
  • Develop or contribute to templates, methodologies, tools, and standards for analytics and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and analytical processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay current with developments in analytics, Lean Six Sigma, process excellence, and business intelligence practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field, with 3–5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, process improvement, or operational excellence.

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical analysis, and data visualization, with hands-on experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational data into actionable business insights, performance recommendations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, project management, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Master Black Belt certification or equivalent MBB-level expertise, including experience coaching or guiding Green Belt and Black Belt practitioners.
  • Experience in BPO/contact center operations, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or client-facing analytics, particularly in environments where measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, or customer experience are key business priorities.
