Location: Philippines (On-site / Full duration of project)

Role Purpose

We are seeking a Data Migration Lead to own and deliver the end-to-end data migration stream for a core banking transformation program in the Philippines. The Lead will define the overall migration strategy, drive requirement analysis, oversee To-Be solution design, and manage vendor integrations. This is a hands-on implementation role requiring deep core banking domain expertise and direct vendor management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Ownership: Define project-specific data migration strategy, methodology, tooling, reconciliation frameworks, and cutover plans aligned with program policies.
• Stream Management: Orchestrate dedicated specialists across Data Mapping, Data Profiling, Cleansing, Reconciliation, and Static/Master Data workstreams.
• Source-to-Target Data Mapping: Lead mapping efforts between legacy platforms (core systems, end-user applications, head-office platforms) and the target lending platform.
• Reconciliation & Validation: Manage record counts and control totals across mock loads, SIT/UAT, dress rehearsals, and final production cutover.
• Testing & Defect Resolution: Triage data and integration defects during SIT/UAT execution and manage resolutions through to closure with delivery teams.
• Cutover & Hypercare Execution: Oversee go-live readiness against entry/exit gate criteria (tool tests, dress rehearsals, cutover / go-no-go) and provide hypercare support.
• Stakeholder Management: Present migration risks, options, and status reporting directly to senior business, technology, and steering committee stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on data migration/integration experience within Core Banking Transformation programs (advisory-only experience will not be considered).
• Proven track record delivering full migration lifecycles (profiling, cleansing, mapping, mock loads, dress rehearsals, production cutover).
• Strong working knowledge of Core Banking data structures for Lending products (limits, facility, loan, schedules, accruals, collateral, balances).
• Deep understanding of multi-level reconciliation principles (source, transformation, target, and GL audit-ready controls).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Must be currently based in the Philippines for the full duration of the project.

Good to Have/Optional

• Techno-functional expertise across Core Banking plus Payments, Trade Finance, or Lending domains.
• Direct implementation experience on modern packaged lending or universal banking platforms.
• Familiarity with data masking and non-production data privacy controls.
