You will work independently on complex migration assignments, collaborate closely with customers and delivery teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement and effective use of NNIT's migration framework. Your work will include requirements analysis, solution design, data extraction and transformation, testing, validation, deployment, implementation, and post-deployment support.
As an Advanced Consultant, you are expected to apply strong expertise within data migration while contributing to project delivery, customer collaboration, knowledge sharing, and informal mentoring. You will also support junior colleagues and help strengthen the migration capabilities of the wider team.
This role offers the opportunity to work with international Life Science customers, gain hands-on experience with complex migration projects and Veeva platforms, and grow your technical and consulting skills while working with experienced colleagues.
Qualifications:
Must-haves:
- At least 5 years of experience in data migration, data integration, ETL, or a related consulting discipline
- Strong experience with relational databases, SQL, data modelling, data warehousing, and data transformation
- Practical experience with migration planning, data mapping, reconciliation, data quality management, testing, and validation
- Experience designing and implementing migration solutions in complex data environments using ETL tools, migration tools, SQL-based solutions, or equivalent technologies
- Experience working with customers and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience within the Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry
- Familiarity with Veeva Vault applications, such as QualityDocs, Clinical, Quality, or RIM
- Experience with clinical databases and Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC), including Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM)
- Familiarity with the clinical-trial lifecycle, including trial setup and related processes
- Familiarity with database, integration, and information system technologies
- Experience contributing technical input to delivery estimates
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end data migration workstreams for Life Science customers, from requirements analysis and solution design through data extraction, transformation, testing, validation, deployment, and post-deployment support.
- Analyze source and target systems, data structures, quality, and dependencies to define migration strategies, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, reconciliation activities, data-quality checks, exception handling, testing, and validation documentation.
- Use NNIT's migration framework, reusable components, delivery accelerators, and tools, and contribute to their continuous improvement through project experience and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, present solutions, manage risks, and deliver sustainable migration outcomes.
- Support team development by mentoring consultants, sharing migration knowledge and best practices, contributing to onboarding and training, and promoting continuous improvement.
- Provide technical input to delivery estimates when required, while maintaining a focus on customer value and high-quality migration delivery.
What We Expect at Advanced Consultant Level
In addition to delivering high-quality migration work, you are expected to:
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and competence in data migration and related disciplines.
- Work autonomously under general direction while managing assigned migration workstreams and ensuring that deliverables meet agreed quality standards.
- Participate in customer meetings, understand customer requirements, and contribute to tailored migration solutions.
- Build effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the growth of the team.
- Maintain a continuous-learning mindset, stay current with relevant migration technologies and Life Science practices, apply lessons learned from project delivery, and share knowledge with colleagues.
