Role Description
The Data Lead for Asia is responsible for elevating technology and data adoption across Employee Benefits (EB) markets in Asia in a sustainable, consistent, and practical manner. This is a hands‑on regional role focused on improving data discipline, strengthening processes, and enabling the effective use of data and technology to drive efficiencies across EB operations.
Working closely with country representatives and the Asia EB team, the role will identify gaps in data practices and processes, recommend appropriate tools and technologies, and actively support implementation across markets.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Strong, hands‑on experience within the Employee Benefits ecosystem, including a solid understanding of:
-EB processes and operational workflows
-Key internal and external stakeholders
-Common tools and technologies used in EB delivery
- Proven experience implementing or improving data and technology solutions in a practical business environment
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple Asia markets
Nice‑to‑Have
- Knowledge of data privacy and data protection requirements within Asia markets
- Experience working with low‑ to mid‑maturity markets on technology adoption and change

Key Responsibilities
Data & Technology Adoption
- Partner with EB country representatives to assess current data practices, tools, and technology usage
- Identify gaps in data discipline, reporting, and operational processes across Asia markets
- Drive the adoption of data technologies and tools that improve consistency, transparency, and efficiency
- Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and appropriate for varying levels of market maturity
Process Improvement
- Review existing EB processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and manual dependencies
- Work hands‑on with country teams to implement technology‑enabled process improvements
- Promote standardization where appropriate while allowing for local regulatory and operational nuances
Stakeholder Partnership
- Act as a trusted regional partner to internal stakeholders across Asia
- Work closely with the Asia EB team to align initiatives with regional priorities
- Facilitate knowledge‑sharing and best practices across markets
Governance & Sustainability
- Support the consistent application of data standards and governance principles across countries
- Encourage sustainable adoption by embedding solutions into daily operations, not one‑off initiatives
- Ensure awareness of data privacy considerations in the use of data and tools
