The Qualifications We Seek
Required
- 1-3 years of experience in data quality assurance, process documentation, or technical writing, including internship or full-time experience
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and confidence in documenting workflows
- Possess experience in data analytics
- Apply basic knowledge of SQL, Python, and data pipelines
- Demonstrate strong English writing and editing skills
- Navigate Confluence, Google Docs, Slack, or similar tools effectively
- Maintain a curious and investigative mindset
Nice to Have
- Hold a diploma in technical communication, information science, library science, or a related field
- Possess experience with network performance and Quality of Experience (QoE) measurements across mobile and fixed networks
- Bring a background in business process outsourcing (BPO) or knowledge process outsourcing (KPO)
- Demonstrate customer-facing experience
Your Daily Tasks
- Process incoming questions from Customer Support, Technical Account Managers (TAMs), or NDAs through Zendesk
- Collect answers to questions previously posted in Slack and publish them in the appropriate knowledge base
- Document methodologies, data models, and processing pipelines in OpenMetadata whenever possible
- Maintain relevant documentation in a dedicated Confluence space when applicable
- Leverage large language model (LLM) tools to address frequently asked questions
- Document all investigative steps and final resolutions in Zendesk
- Respond to Zendesk tickets when observed data values reflect normal system behavior
- Troubleshoot data issues, identify the affected systems, and create Jira tickets for the appropriate teams
- Investigate poorly performing queries to determine their root causes
What Success Looks Like
- Understand individual data products and their processing pipelines by consulting knowledge bases, Slack, LLM tools, managers, colleagues, and source code
- Document data pipeline findings thoroughly in the appropriate knowledge base
- Pursue continuous learning and seek mentorship from senior team members
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across teams
- Work with increasing independence as proficiency in the company's products and data analytics grows
- Apply investigative experience to distinguish relevant documentation from outdated content and submit deletion or update requests
- Incorporate LLM and AI tools to accelerate investigations while applying critical thinking to verify accuracy
- Proactively raise concerns and recommend improvements to the manager
