Role Overview
We're looking for a
Data Intelligence Specialist to build and own our data foundations from the ground up. This is a high-impact role where you'll turn raw data into powerful insights, supporting everything from audience targeting and risk screening to commercial decision-making and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Develop and optimise advanced SQL queries and data models
- Ingest and manage data from multiple sources (APIs, files, databases)
- Ensure data quality, validation, and governance across all datasets
- Build clear segmentation logic to support targeting and risk analysis
- Translate data into actionable insights that drive commercial decisions
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Define and track KPIs, enabling teams to self-serve data confidently
- Document data processes, lineage, and best practices
- Continuously improve systems with a build-measure-iterate mindset
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Strong experience with SQL (advanced level) and Python for data (pandas, NumPy)
- Proven ability to build and manage data pipelines and workflows
- Experience with data modelling (star/snowflake schemas, SCDs, etc.)
- Solid understanding of data quality, testing, and governance principles
- Experience using Power BI, including DAX and Power Query
- Strong analytical mindset with knowledge of statistics and segmentation techniques
- Comfortable working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources
- Familiarity with tools like Git, CI pipelines, and cloud platforms (nice to have)
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently
