Position Title: Data Governance Officer

Job Summary:

• Develop data policies, processes and quality standards across end-to-end data life cycle
• Develop and implement mechanisms to monitor adherence to established data policies and processes
• Work closely with data stakeholders to understand existing data processes and provide recommendations and guidance to data teams in the adoption of data policies, processes and standards
• Work closely with relevant governance units in the bank to ensure alignment of policies
• Ensure that the bank's data policies and processes are updated and aligned to internal and regulatory policies

Role Exposure:

• Create and maintain data policies, procedures and standards
• Develop data quality standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years relevant experience in Data Governance
• Knowledge of data quality and data governance principles
• Understanding of data privacy and information security regulations
• Technical Writing and Project Management skills
• Exposure to the banking industry / certifications an advantage
