DATA FORMATTING SPECIALIST


Location
: Clark, Pampanga
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Fulltime
Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM | Monday - Friday

About this role . . .

As a Data Formatting Specialist, you will play a critical role in onboarding new clients by transforming their existing data into clean, structured, and platform-ready formats.

This role requires more than technical formatting skills, you must be able to read, interpret, and understand client data structures, and accurately translate them into the correct format for our system. You will work closely with the Implementation Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurate, structured, and seamlessly integrated.

We are seeking someone with a high level of Excel expertise, strong data cleansing capability, and a passion for process improvement and automation.

In addition, you will provide occasional ad-hoc executive and operational support where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Implementation Manager to understand client data requirements and platform formatting specifications.
  • Review and interpret client datasets to understand structure, logic, and financial context.
  • Translate and map client data accurately the required format.
  • Clean, structure, validate, and transform raw client data from spreadsheets, PDFs, and existing construction management systems.
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies, duplicates, structural gaps, and errors.
  • Develop structured, repeatable formatting processes to improve onboarding efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements.
  • Utilize formulas, advanced spreadsheet techniques, and (where applicable) automation tools to streamline data processing.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Customer Success, and Product teams to troubleshoot data import issues.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data security best practices.
  • Provide ad-hoc executive assistant support, including document preparation, email coordination, and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Intermediate to expert-level proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, structured formatting, and large dataset management.
  • Strong experience in data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and logically structure client data.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand financial and operational data flows.
  • Highly computer literate, confident learning and navigating new platforms and software quickly.
  • Demonstrated passion for process improvement, efficiency, and automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client datasets simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience working with residential builders or within the construction industry is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience with automation tools, scripting, SQL, Python, ETL tools, or similar technologies is an advantage.
