Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer Supervisor to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data platforms and pipelines. This role is responsible for delivering scalable data solutions, driving data engineering best practices, and leading a team of engineers in supporting the organization's growing data and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Architecture

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Build and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Support data governance, architecture, and quality management initiatives.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Data Engineers.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards and best practices.
• Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Platform Operations & Optimization

• Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance and reliability.
• Implement data validation, monitoring, and quality assurance controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Document data architectures, workflows, and technical processes.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Platform Development.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams.
• Proven experience designing and supporting large-scale data solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based data services.
• Proficiency in Python scripting, automation, and data processing.
• Experience handling, mentoring, or managing a team.
