Job Description
Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will engage in designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. Your typical day involves creating and managing data pipelines, ensuring the accuracy and quality of data, and implementing processes to efficiently migrate and deploy data across various systems. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders to optimize data workflows and support organizational data needs will be an integral part of your role. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable data flow. - Document processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Google BigQuery. - Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data platforms. - Experience in designing and optimizing complex SQL queries for large datasets. - Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration and workflow automation tools. - Ability to implement data quality checks and validation mechanisms. - Proficient in performance tuning and cost optimization strategies for cloud data environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Google BigQuery. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
