Data Engineer (Snowflake Data Warehouse)

Role Overview

As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing our Snowflake data platform, ensuring high performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Snowflake accounts, databases, schemas, and warehouses
• Use Terraform to manage infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code
• Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance and query efficiency
• Implement RBAC, data governance, and security policies
• Manage Snowflake releases, features, and configurations
• Provide user support, performance tuning, and issue resolution
• Optimize warehouse sizing and auto-scaling for efficiency and cost control
• Ensure data integrity with backup, failover, and disaster recovery strategies
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders on data solutions

Requirements

• 3–5+ years experience in Snowflake infrastructure and administration
• Strong understanding of data warehouse performance tuning and optimization
• Experience with Terraform (preferred)
• Exposure to Databricks is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally
