About the role
Myridius (Formerly RCG Global Services) is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila, on a full-time basis.
What you'll be doing
- Design - creates source-to-target mappings for data pipelines based on requirements
- Development - creates data pipelines that implement the mappings
- Unit Testing - creates and executes unit test cases, documents results, and performs defect remediation
- Participates in Agile scrum rituals
- Provides/refines estimates for Agile work assignments
Must have skills
- Hands-on SQL knowledge and experience
- Experience with creating data pipelines for RDBMS targets
- Experience with creating data pipelines, sourcing data from flat files, and XML files
- Experience with common transformation functions within data pipelines
- Experience with designing and developing common ETL/ELT utilities (e.g., error checking)
- Working knowledge of data services within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
- Deep knowledge and experience with one/more ETL tools
Nice-to-have skills
- Experience dealing with Verisk data is a huge plus
- Experience with Azure Data Factory is a huge plus
- Experience with creating ETL/ELT accelerators is a huge plus
- Experience with SSIS or a similar ETL tool is a plus
- Experience with insurance in general is a plus.
