Job Description
Job Summary
- Responsible in leading and managing the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring the efficient and reliable processing and storage of data.
- They also provide technical expertise and team leadership to support data-driven initiatives, facilitating data accessibility, integrity, and usability for the organization's data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders.
- 1. Ensures data availability, integrity and manageability across the group.
- The Department's work scope and capabilities shall cover the following:
- - Keep abreast of new technologies and developments in Data Science to continuously enhance tools and methodologies used in the Data Science & Analytics group.
- - Standardize, unify and optimize internal & external data, leveraging scalable technologies to provide high quality, secure and rapid data solutions to support Data Science & Analytics
- initiatives.
- - Manage data across the Data Science group providing a single customer view of internal and external data.
- 2. Collaborates with stakeholders, project managers, and other teams to plan and coordinate data engineering projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within scope.
- 3. Provides technical leadership and expertise to the team, guiding them in making architecture and technology decisions.
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field;
- Hands on experience in Data Engineering preferably in Data Science applications.
- Adequate exposure to Data Science, various data type and source and technology used in Data Science.
- Demonstrates professional integrity; with a high sense of urgency, highly analytical
- Proficiency in managing big data, databases, SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, Unix OS, and other related tools.
