What You'll Do:
- Design efficient and scalable data models to support analytical and operational requirements.
- Develop and implement data structures aligned with data architecture standards and business needs.
- Integrate data from various sources into the data lake.
- Automate data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes to streamline data workflows.
- Implement data validation and quality checks across the data management pipeline.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Provide accurate, reliable, and accessible data to support business and analytical needs.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics or related field; Strong foundation in computer science principles, algorithms, software development methodologies, and data analysis
- Proficiency in at least one, and ideally several, of: Python, Java, Scala, SQL.
- Working knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS) – i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL; knowledge in no-SQL databases (i.e Couchbase) is a plus.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Knowledge of cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage).
- Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica)
- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts, Familiarity with data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of fundamental data structures
- Knowledge of data modeling and schema design
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability identify key business insights from aggregated and consolidated data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and work in an agile environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
