Job Description

A financial services organisation based in Pasay City.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Oversee the implementation of big data solutions using tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
Manage data architecture and infrastructure to enable efficient storage and processing of large datasets.
Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure seamless integration of data for reporting and insights.
Implement real-time data processing systems for critical business applications.
Utilise cloud platforms to optimise data engineering workflows and storage solutions.
Ensure the reliability and performance of distributed systems and data infrastructure.
Mentor and guide team members to achieve engineering excellence.

A successful Data Engineer Manager should have:

Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering tools such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
Knowledge of both NoSQL and RDBMS databases.
Proven expertise in building and managing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
Understanding of real-time data processing frameworks and big data technologies.
Solid grasp of data architecture and infrastructure design.
Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
