Data automation engineer position that will develop, execute, and roll out automation initiatives for Data Engineering/Operations, that increase testing efficiency, scope of coverage, and speed to market. Also learn existing procedures to help the team with day-to-day tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field.
- 1-3 years experience in automation, programming, data analysis, and systems analysis.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
Technical Skills
- New development utilizing technologies such as java, python, Linux, GIT or any other software version control, etc.
- Understanding of GitHub for source control and development
- Understanding of python, java interfaces
- Understanding of SOAP services testing and tools used such as Ready API/SoapUI Pro)
- Knowledge of the entire SDLC Requirement gathering & analysis, planning, design, development, testing, and implementation
- Solve technical challenges which will result in faster recovery of failed processes and better automation tools with minimal customer impact for issues
- Strong research skills
- Ability to identify root cause and cure for complex bug fixes
- Good verbal and written communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
- Self starter and can research using appropriate internal and external resources

- Automation script development create, maintain, and enhance existing scripts
- Investigate, analyze, document and fix reported issues

- Understanding of GitHub actions and workflows
