Job Overview
Our client is looking for skilled Data Engineers with hands-on experience in modern data platforms such as Informatica, Databricks, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures that support business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Build and optimize data workflows using Informatica, Databricks, and/or Snowflake
- Develop and manage large-scale data processing systems and data lakes/warehouses
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across platforms
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and performance issues
- Implement best practices for data engineering, including security and scalability
- Support data integration from multiple sources (structured and unstructured)
Requirements
- At least 3–4 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
- Hands-on experience with Informatica, Databricks, and/or Snowflake
- Strong experience in SQL and data modeling
- Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python, Scala, or similar programming languages
- Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices
- Experience working in Agile environments
