As a Data Engineer, you will design and build scalable data solutions that power analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You enjoy solving technical challenges, working with large datasets, and collaborating with data professionals to create impactful solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data.
• Build and support scalable data platforms, including data warehouses, lakehouses, and data lakes.
• Implement data quality controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Automate data processing and integration tasks using Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data infrastructure and pipelines.
• Maintain clear documentation for data processes, architectures, and workflows.
• Keep up with emerging tools and technologies in data engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, or other scripting languages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, as well as Microsoft data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Fabric, is an advantage.
• Banking industry experience is a plus.
