THE ROLE

As a Data Engineer, you will execute data pipeline development and platform implementation projects under the architectural guidance of senior engineers. You will work directly with clients to build reliable data integration solutions, implement ETL/ELT workflows, and establish data infrastructure that powers analytics capabilities. You will be a key delivery partner across multiple client engagements, bringing technical expertise and strong execution to move projects from design to production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pipeline Development & Platform Implementation

  • Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate diverse data sources such as operational systems, external data sources, and APIs.
  • Execute platform buildouts based on architectural specifications: setting up cloud resources, configuring tools, and establishing environments
  • Develop and maintain data models that provide clean, business-ready datasets for analytics consumption
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure pipeline reliability and data trustworthiness
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, performance issues, and data quality problems

Client Collaboration

  • Work closely with client technical teams to understand data sources, business logic, and integration requirements
  • Collaborate with analytics team to understand downstream use cases and optimize data models accordingly
  • Participate in client meetings to provide technical updates, clarify requirements, and address implementation questions
  • Support 1-2 concurrent client projects with guidance on prioritization and workload management

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years in data engineering or related technical role with hands-on pipeline development experience
  • Strong proficiency and experience across modern data stack: cloud warehouses (Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery/Redshift), orchestration, transformation, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Experience integrating data from APIs, databases, and third-party platforms; familiarity with SQL/Python for scripting and data manipulation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders in a client-facing environment
