Summary
We are looking for a Data Consultant to help clients turn data into decisions by modernizing their data ecosystems and unlock actionable insights. You'll work across the entire data lifecycle, acquiring, engineering, governing, and visualizing data, while evolving into a trusted advisor on modern data strategy. Whether you're building your first dashboard or architecting an enterprise data platform migration, you'll continually learn, collaborate, and drive measurable, data-driven decisions.

ETL & Batch Processing

- Optimize batch-processing jobs for performance and scalability, ensuring data integrity through validation checks

API Development & Integration
- Fundamentals: API Design, Authentication/Authorization, Data Serialization
- Develop and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs that enable seamless data exchange among systems
- Establish versioning, security controls, and data-contract standards to ensure consistent integration behavior
- Perform API performance testing and monitoring; guide stakeholders on consuming APIs effectively
Governance
Master Data Management
- Fundamentals: Entity Resolution, Domain Modeling, Data Stewardship
- Lead master-data modeling sessions to define key entities, hierarchies, and golden-record rules
- Configure MDM tools to enforce matching, merging, and survivorship policies across source systems
- Establish and automate processes for data stewardship, deduplication, and synchronization, ensuring a single source of truth
- Develop and document MDM workflows and train teams on usage
Data Governance Tools & Processes
- Fundamentals: Workflow Design, Metadata Management, Process Automation
- Implement metadata-catalog solutions to inventory data assets, tag lineage, and maintain business glossaries
- Define and automate data-quality checks within governance platforms
- Design and operationalize governance processes
- Integrate governance tools into data pipelines, enabling policy enforcement at ingestion, processing, and consumption stages
Who We're Looking For
For this role, we're looking for someone who has the following:
Proven data integration expertise and execution
- Demonstrated success building and deploying end-to-end data pipelines, from source extraction through transformation and loading, while contributing to technical design
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT patterns, API integrations, batch processing, and real-time streaming
- Proficiency with transformation and orchestration tooling (Fabric Pipelines, Azure Data Factory, dbt) and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or equivalent
