NCP is looking for a Data Collector who is experienced in executing research activities in strict compliance with study protocols, conducting onsite interviews and observations, and coordinating with Local Government Units (LGUs), health facility managers, and community leaders to identify appropriate resource persons for interviews.
A relevant university degree in public health, nutrition, nursing, medical technology, or other health/science-related disciplines is preferred. Candidates with backgrounds in nutrition, culinary arts, or food service management are also encouraged to apply. Fluency in both Filipino and Ilocano is required. Must be a resident of Baguio City or nearby city/municipality, or willing to transfer to Baguio City at own expense. Experience in face-to-face data collection, community-based work, and use of electronic data capture tools such as ODK or REDCap is an advantage.
Essentially, this role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to compile, review, validate, encode, and securely manage data in accordance with research protocols and confidentiality standards. The Data Collector is also expected to demonstrate professionalism in fieldwork, maintain proper coordination with stakeholders, and submit complete and accurate reports on time.
