Job Summary
- Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of IT infrastructure and system software through effective design, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing management, while maintaining compliance with bank standards and MLPP regulations.
How will you contribute
Batch Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain automated batch processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Monitor and optimize existing batch schedules and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve batch processing failures and performance issues.
- Implement and maintain batch scheduling tools and related infrastructure.
Batch Production Support
- Provide timely and effective support for production batch processing issues.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential problems.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Change Control
- Manage and enforce change control processes to ensure the stability and integrity of the production environment.
- Review and approve change requests, ensuring they meet established standards and guidelines.
- Coordinate change implementation and track change status.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all changes.
CI/CD Pipeline Management
- Maintain and enhance the CI/CD pipeline to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.
- Implement and integrate automated testing and quality assurance processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize the CI/CD workflow.
- Create and maintain documentation of all CI/CD processes.
- Work with development teams to streamline the development of code.
Version Control
- Manage and maintain version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Ensure proper branching strategies and code merge procedures.
- Assist in resolving version control conflicts.
- Maintain the integrity of the code repositories.
What will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 4-5 years in Data Center Operations, or Application Development
- Proven experience in operations analysis, batch automation, or a similar role.
- Experience with batch scheduling tools (e.g. Zena, Control-M, Autosys, GoAnywhere) and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins, Asure DevOps)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, shell scripting).
- Experience with cloud based technologies is a plus.
- Extensive experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Willing to work with shifting schedule
