Data Center Operations Assistant Manager

Job Description:

The Assistant Manager - Data Center Operations supports the reliable, efficient, and safe operation of the company's mission-critical data center facilities. This role works closely with the Sr. Manager - Data Center Operations to execute operational strategies, enforce policies and procedures, and ensure daily activities meet the organization's performance, availability, and sustainability objectives. The Assistant Manager will oversee operational teams and vendors to maintain high service availability, ensure compliance with operational standards, and drive continuous improvements across data center infrastructure and facilities management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in mission-critical data center or facilities operations.
• Experience supervising technical teams in a data center or critical infrastructure environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH units, and power distribution systems.
• Familiarity with data center operational metrics and performance monitoring.
• Experience working with DCIM platforms, monitoring systems, etc.
• Knowledge of incident management, change management, and maintenance management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CDCP, CDCS, Uptime Institute ATS/ATS+, or similar are an advantage. 
• Amenable to work onsite in Caloocan (Bagumbong)
