Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a Data Center NOC L1/L2 Engineer (Enhanced with Tools). In this position, you will monitor network operations to ensure system functionality, diagnose issues, and implement resolutions. Responsibilities include real-time troubleshooting of technical problems, network administration tasks, and collaboration with technical teams to optimize system performance. You will use advanced tools to enhance technical support effectiveness and maintain the health of connected systems and components in the data center environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Network Operations Center (NOC) and Computer Network Operations.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and providing technical solutions for complex network issues.
  • Experience in Network Administration and related configuration or maintenance tasks.
  • Technical Support skills to assist users and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and remote tools to manage networks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced remote work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
