You will lead the technical review process, champion site safety protocols, and ensure that all civil, mechanical, and electrical (M&E) components of the data center are built to world-class standards. This role requires a blend of engineering expertise and project management rigor.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Technical Design & Optimization

• Lead the review of professional construction drawings (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical).

• Analyze design schemes to provide value-engineering suggestions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, or shorten construction timelines.

• Utilize AutoCAD to verify spatial requirements and technical alignments between different engineering disciplines.

2. Safety Governance & Risk Mitigation

• Develop and implement the annual Engineering Safety Plan for the DC construction site.

• Conduct monthly high-stakes safety inspections and audit engineering records to ensure 100% compliance with local and international standards.

• Formulate robust emergency response plans and lead regular drills to ensure the team is prepared for any site incident or safety risk.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate collaboration between internal departments such as PMO, NETCON, Marketing, O&M, and Sales to maintain alignment.

• Monitor vendor performance, assisting in risk identification and the regular evaluation of vendor relationships.

• Support the resolution of complex or long-standing project issues through active field coordination.

• Provide coordination and operational support to regional marketing and network operations teams as required.

4. Project Delivery, Closure & Financial Control

• Coordinate the EO and PO processes, including the monitoring and tracking of orders from initiation to closure.

• Conduct initial reviews of project designs, design changes, and acceptance management for non-EPC projects.

• Track OSS/MSS tasks and PAC/FAC requirements to ensure timely project finalization.

• Monitor project budgets and review team expense reimbursements to ensure financial compliance and cost efficiency.

5. Performance Monitoring, Reporting & Issue Resolution

• Track KPIs and progress, proactively identifying risks and suggesting mitigation strategies to the Regional Head.

• Prepare comprehensive progress reports and management summaries for review.

• Monitor quality and safety compliance on-site for civil works, equipment installation, and data center activities.

• Oversee resource utilization, ensuring production resources like vehicles and materials are allocated efficiently.

6. Team Development & Administrative Leadership

• Assist in team development by supporting recruitment, training programs, and performance assessments.

• Review administrative requests, including team leave applications, work schedules, and field deployment plans.

• Provide cross-functional cover for other team members during absences or emergencies as required by management.

Required Expertise & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3–5 years in Electrical or Civil Engineering, specifically within construction or design environments.

• Deep familiarity with Data Center Electrical Systems (UPS, HV/MV distribution, cooling integration).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Project Management software.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering. Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) license is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to manage vendors, lead safety drills, and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
