Job Summary

The Data Automation Analyst is responsible in taking ownership of a growing portfolio of data integration and automation projects in healthcare. This role will support the ingestion, transformation, and delivery of healthcare data across multiple systems, improving existing workflows, and building maintainable solutions that reduce manual effort and increase data reliability.

Maintain and enhance Python-based ETL pipelines that process healthcare data (e.g., EDI 835/837, census, clinical documents).

Develop integrations between Microsoft SharePoint/Graph API, SFTP endpoints, and internal SQL Server databases.

Implement automated tests and data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.

Design and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, tables, and reconciliation logic.

Build robust logging, error handling, and audit trails for file movement and data processing.

Normalize and validate inbound data from multiple sources and formats.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions.

Produce clear technical documentation for workflows, schemas, and operational procedures.

Refactor legacy scripts into scalable, production-ready code with documentation and tests.

Assist with troubleshooting production issues and performance bottlenecks.

Screening Criteria

Minimum of two (2) years experience in Python and SQL systems.

Experience in Prefect, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools.

Must have stable employment history.

Required Qualifications

Familiarity with reconciliation workflows and audit reporting.

DevOps exposure (CI/CD, containerization)

Proficiency in Python (file handling, APIs, data processing).

Experience with SQL Server: querying, stored procedures, indexing, and schema design.

Familiarity with EDI formats (835/837 preferred) or other structured healthcare data.

Experience with SFTP automation and secure file transfer workflows.

Understanding of REST APIs, particularly Microsoft Graph / SharePoint.

Version control using Git and collaborative development practices.

Work with semi-structured data (PDF, CSV, HL7, flat files).

Demonstrates strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Exhibit growth mindset and team-orientated behaviors.

Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.
