Role Overview
- Provides functional expertise and systems support for Supply Chain processes, ensuring reliable day-to-day system operations, effective resolution of functional issues, and successful delivery of system enhancements and transformation initiatives.
- The role supports the DSS Manager in systems governance, continuous improvement, and implementation of future-ready capabilities across the Supply Chain.
Supply Chain Systems Governance & Solutions
- Provide functional expertise for assigned Supply Chain systems supporting business processes such as Planning, Execution, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Warehouse and Logistics.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and system requirements.
- Assess system functionality against current and future business process requirements and identify gaps.
- Provide process and functional guidance to users and process owners on system capabilities and appropriate usage.
- Maintain functional documentation, system knowledge, and operating procedures.
- Support the DSS Manager in implementing systems governance standards and business rules.
Systems Solutions Project Management and Delivery
- Drive assigned Supply Chain system projects and enhancements
- Participate in process design, requirements gathering and validation, testing, user training, and implementation activities.
- Coordinate with business users, process owners, CIT, and other stakeholders to ensure business requirements are addressed.
- Monitor assigned deliverables, issues, dependencies, and risks and provide regular updates to the DSS Manager.
- Support post-implementation stabilization and transition to BAU
Supply Chain Systems Standardization and Transformation
- Contribute to the standardization and harmonization of Supply Chain processes and systems across functions and regional markets.
- Assess Supply Chain processes and system practices to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and improved system utilization.
- Analyze inefficiencies, gaps, bottlenecks, and recurring issues and recommend improvements with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop functional recommendations for future-state processes and system solutions based on business requirements.
- Support implementation and adoption of approved standards, process improvements, and system enhancements within assigned scope.
- Provide functional inputs to regional systems roadmap and transformation initiatives.
Systems Operation Support
- Provide day-to-day functional support for assigned Supply Chain systems
- Monitor system-supported business activities and identify issues affecting planning and execution.
- Perform first-level functional analysis, clarify requirements, and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Escalate critical issues and business impact/risks to the DSS Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in: Business, Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data/Technology-related
- Experience in Supply Chain processes and business systems, particularly in Planning and Execution.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Service Optimizer (SO99+), demand/supply planning systems, ERP, or other Supply Chain platforms is preferred.
- Experience in business process improvement, systems implementation, or functional project delivery is an advantage.
- Strong functional understanding of Supply Chain Planning and Execution processes
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional system requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
