Job Description

The Data & MI Officer is responsible for preparing, validating and maintaining management information (MIS) reports, dashboards and data extracts that support business performance tracking, risk monitoring and decision-making. The role owns and enhances assigned MIS domains support business decisions, from tracking sales productivity and customer behavior to portfolio performance and risk exposure, while ensuring data integrity, governance compliance and alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements of Business Banking Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver regular and ad hoc MIS reports for Sales, Portfolio, Risk and Customer segments.
  • Analyze data trends and provide insights to support business strategy and performance management.
  • Perform data checks and reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency across systems.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies in coordination with relevant units.
  • Maintain and update reference code tables and other data assets used across business reporting.
  • Support process documentation and metadata maintenance in alignment with governance standards.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align data requirements and ensure delivery of reports timely.
  • Participate in identifying process risks and implementing data integrity measures.
  • Use data and analytics tools to extract, transform and visualize data.
  • Identify reporting gaps and propose improvements or automation opportunities to streamline the MIS process.

Qualifications:

  • Education (minimum / preferred undergraduate / graduate / postgraduate course) Bachelor/master's degree in quantitative subjects (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Information Management) or related fields.
  • Experience (minimum / preferred actual work experience) - At least 2-5 years experience in similar function. With at least 1-year working experience with marketing or sales management.
  • Knowledge (minimum training / certification course requirements) - Basic computer applications (word processing/spreadsheets / etc.) - Proficiency in computer application (MS Office) - Knowledge in bank operations
  • Skills: Above average communication skills, Computer Literate, Works well under pressure, Attentive to details, Effective coaching and people skills, and Works well with others.
