What You'll Do
- Work closely with Workforce Management (WFM) team (primary focus: first 3–4 months) and Projects team
- Analyse large datasets stored in SQL Server; identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Build Power BI dashboards and reports from scratch; maintain 20–30 existing reports (updated 2-hourly, weekly, and monthly)
- Write and optimise SQL queries; streamline existing reporting processes
- Identify data quality issues and escalate to Claims team for scrubbing (not responsible for scrubbing directly)
- Maintain existing forecasting model in collaboration with WFM Team Leader (model already exists – not built from scratch)
- Develop and implement automation using Power Automate (Microsoft suite); higher-tier license provided
- Translate data insights into actionable business recommendations and present to stakeholders
Key Criteria
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, formulas, data modelling).
- Minimum 2-4 years in a analytics, reporting or business intelligence role.
- Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization best practices).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation & validation.
- SQL proficient in SQL Server; able to write and optimize complex queries on large datasets
- Power BI coding (DAX), build dashboards from scratch and maintain existing reports; connect to SQL Server
- Business Analysis ability to read data independently, identify opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations based on real experience
- Experience with other visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) is an advantage.
- Proven experience building and optimising Power BI dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
- Experience in creating, maintaining and optimizing dashboards and automated reports.
Work setup
- Philippines (Taguig BGC) working hour will be 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (PHT) with Hybrid working: 5 days per fortnight in office (approx. 3 days week 1, 2 days week 2) - First 2 weeks will be full time onsite to complete the onboarding process
- Malaysia (Mid Valley City) working hour will be 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (MYT) with Hybrid working: 5 days per fortnight in office (approx. 3 days week 1, 2 days week 2) - First 2 weeks will be full time onsite to complete the onboarding process
