The Data Analyst, Supply Chain is responsible for supporting data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, and business insights across the end-to-end Supply Chain organization. This role serves as a key partner to Supply Chain stakeholders by transforming complex data into actionable insights that improve operational performance, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The position supports analytics and reporting requirements across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Demand Planning, Order Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Supplier Management, and broader Supply Chain functions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical capabilities, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for solving business challenges through data.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI tracking tools for Supply Chain operations.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and process improvement recommendations.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports that provide meaningful insights to business stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
Business Intelligence & Insights
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Conduct root cause analyses and provide data-driven recommendations to improve performance and outcomes.
- Monitor key Supply Chain performance metrics and proactively identify anomalies or emerging trends.
- Support data storytelling by presenting insights in a clear and actionable manner.
Supply Chain Functional Support
- Partner with stakeholders across:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Demand Planning
- Order Management
- Logistics & Distribution
- Inventory Management
- Supplier/Vendor Management
- Supply Chain Planning & Analytics
- Support business reviews through the preparation of metrics, performance analyses, and executive reporting materials.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline analytical processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process performance measurement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable reporting and analytics solutions.
Data Governance & Quality
- Maintain data quality standards and assist in resolving data discrepancies.
- Support governance efforts related to reporting structures, data definitions, and KPI standardization.
- Document reporting processes, methodologies, and business rules.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics
- Three or more years of experience mining data as a data analyst
- Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
- Advanced Excel Skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools
- Proficiency in Tableau Ability to maintain confidentiality based on access to proprietary financial, operational and competitive information.
- Familiarity with data warehouse systems, specifically Snowflake, is a huge plus.
