Data Analyst

Are you passionate about collecting, processing, and analyzing data, and looking to advance your career as a Data Analyst in the energy sector We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our dynamic team in the Quasset Philippines office.

As a Data Analyst, you will be part of an international team which executes projects centered around implementation of robotic solutions to improve Asset Integrity Management in the energy sector. We use technologies such as non-destructive testing, robotics, mixed reality, data analytics and business intelligence tools.

Your responsibilities:

Scout for relevant (open) data sources on the internet

Collect data from different sources (i.e. client, internal, public)

Process and transform data (formats)

Data cleaning and enrichment

Data importing and exporting from databases

Setup and maintain file and data storage

Collect, enter, interpret/, transform geospatial data such as satellite images, shapefiles, KMZ using geospatial tools like QGis

Design, build maintain and implement data visualizations (filters, tables, graphs, dashboards) using Excel and PowerBI

Master data maintenance

Collect, read and summarize sources with unstructured data, e.g. technology description

Your profile: experience and skills

Excel: power user

PowerBI: medium

Databases (e.g. Postgres): medium

Experience with GIS tools (e.g. QGis) is a plus

Scripting languages for data processing (e.g. Python) is a plus

Data science course is a plus

Detail and quality oriented

Self-starter and eager to learn new skills and topics

Good English communication skills, both verbal and written

Wide interest in technology and engineering

Excellent problem solving capabilities

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects

Attention to detail, prioritize and consistently meet deadlines

A pro-active attitude, able to work independently and also as a team player

A curiosity for robotics systems and innovation in the energy sector

Flexibility to work with an international team
