Job Description

The Data Analyst is focused on the structure, models, and standards of data for large projects and programs. The goal of the data architect is to ensure that the end-to-end solution being designed and delivered will be harmonious with the enterprise data model and support the overall information strategy. To use expert specialist skills and knowledge to define and deliver data solutions and to contribute to the development and implementation of IT plans in line with overall strategy of IT and the business; to act as Lead Architect on major data programs.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the data design of solutions for large projects and programs; through expert knowledge translate high-level business requirements into data models and appropriate metadata, test data, and data quality standards.
  • Manage senior business stakeholders to secure strong engagement for the solution and ensure that the delivery of the project aligns to longer-term strategic roadmaps.
  • Work as part of the program management team on a large program, governing and shaping the delivery of projects. Work closely with external suppliers to ensure the solution makes best use of technology and meets requirements.
  • Simplify the existing data architecture, delivering reusable services and cost saving opportunities in line with the policies and standards of the group.
  • Lead collaborative teamworking with other areas within EA group to ensure that all solutions are complete, operable, conform to business processes and meet the business needs with the agreed quality.
  • Provide clear, continuous and consistent data architecture leadership at detailed level within the project.
  • Ensure the end-to-end solution is fit for purpose, meets the needs of business, the agreed requirements and are both pragmatic and supportive of the strategic architecture direction.
  • Lead and participate in the peer review and quality assurance of project architectural artifacts across EA group through governance forums. Report key architecture decisions and implications to the architectural governance forums.
  • Identify and communicate appropriate resource requirements and work breakdown structure based on skills profile and best fit to complete the end-to-end solution design and work within the project manager to ensure that project plans and finance align with the design.
  • Participate from time to time in the supplier selection process, evaluating usefulness and cost of products and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Drive project knowledge back to the enterprise data model and ensure that it evolved correctly.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
  • At least 3- 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Willing to work onsite and in BGC.
  • 6 months contract.
