Job Summary
Responsible for providing moderate-level technical, analytical, and reporting support for the Claims, Provider, Finance, Enrollment, and Utilization Management departments programs and reporting needs.
Manages assigned reporting projects to ensure data and analysis requests are completed in a timely and accurate manner, and presented in a format that meets the needs of the requesting department.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform moderate-level data analysis and reporting by executing timely and accurate reporting techniques and/or developing new or modifying existing reports to ensure consistent results and analysis.
- Use analytical skills to determine solutions, resolve problems, and automate processes when appropriate.
- Work with requestors to determine needs and objectives; document requirements and identify the correct methodology for data extraction, including data sources and criteria, ensuring delivered reports are accurate, timely, and properly formatted.
- Manage assigned projects and communicate effectively with requestors and leadership regarding any potential roadblocks that may impact deadlines.
- Maintain understanding of various data sources available within Imperial.
- Document all coding, analysis, and reporting projects following established protocols to ensure transparency and repeatability.
- Collaborate and maintain effective working relationships with management, internal departments, and external vendors.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Adhere to Compliance Plan and HIPAA regulations.

Position Requirements
Education / Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Public Health, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required.
- In lieu of a degree: 6+ years of experience in reporting and analytics within a healthcare setting, including data analysis, extraction, and manipulation using SQL.
- Experience with SQL (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) is required.
- Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, dbt, Fivetran, etc.), Python, R, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) is a plus.
- EZ-CAP experience preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL reporting and analytics with data analysis, extraction, and manipulation.
- 3+ years of experience designing reports and developing executive-level presentations.
- 3+ years of experience in a healthcare delivery or healthcare business environment preferred.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts, including table design, structure, joins, normalization, and data types.
- Ability to perform detailed data analysis and present actionable insights.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of technical issues related to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to recognize trends and patterns in data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Home Office Requirements:
- Internet Connection: Must be 100 Mbps at the least, preferably a wired connection with PLDT, Cable connection is fine if it's more than 50mbps. We DO NOT accept plug-ins, wi-fi, or wimax.
- Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a good working computer.
- Headsets: The Contractor must have noise-cancelling headsets preferably Plantronics Blackwire C320M headsets. Assessment will be done during test calls.
- Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
- Webcam - for meeting purposes
- Must be comfortable working with Time Doctor/Screenshot Monitor
