Overview:

The Data Analyst II supports data governance and master data management activities by ensuring the quality, accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical business data across multiple systems and applications. This role is responsible for maintaining and analyzing master data, developing data solutions, and providing insights that support business decision-making. The position works closely with business users, technology teams, and stakeholders to improve data processes, resolve data-related issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do:

  • Create, maintain, and analyze master data across various business applications and systems.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality, accuracy, credibility, and integrity of master data.
  • Design and implement solutions to consolidate, cleanse, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Develop automated processes that improve data maintenance, validation, and reporting efficiency.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and meaningful insights from large and diverse datasets.
  • Interpret and communicate analytical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and management.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for master data issues and data governance concerns.
  • Collaborate with business users, application vendors, and technology teams to resolve data-related challenges.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and recommend data management improvements.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls that ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance data governance and operational effectiveness.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Accounting, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, master data management, data governance, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data management processes.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and master data concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis or reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
