The Role: Data Analyst II (Sr. Business Analyst / Reports Developer)
What will you do
As the
Data Analyst II, you will play a critical role in supporting the EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE) business through data-driven insights and executive reporting. This role goes beyond traditional analytics, requiring a professional who can transform complex business data into impactful recommendations and compelling executive-level presentations.
You will work closely with global stakeholders and senior leadership to monitor business performance, identify growth opportunities, and influence strategic decision-making through analytics.
Data Analysis & Business Insights
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify business trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Perform sales performance analysis, forecasting, and pipeline tracking across multiple regions and business units.
- Monitor target achievement, pipeline health, and performance gaps.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear and concise executive summaries.
Reporting & Dashboard Management
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and performance reporting solutions.
- Deliver accurate and timely business performance reporting for leadership reviews.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and business reviews.
- Ensure data consistency, quality, and accuracy across reporting processes.
Business Performance Monitoring
- Track key business metrics including:
- Sales Pipeline
- Revenue Growth
- Conversion Rates
- Operational KPIs
- Identify opportunities to improve business performance through data-driven recommendations.
- Support data validation and governance activities to ensure reporting integrity.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with global business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand analytical requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor by translating data into actionable business recommendations.
- Collaborate with teams across multiple regions and functions to drive informed decision-making.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate recurring reporting activities.
- Improve reporting efficiency, data governance, and data transparency.
- Promote best practices for analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Who will be successful
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Business Analysis, or related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
- Experience working with sales data, business performance metrics, and KPI reporting.
- Strong understanding of data structures and analytical methodologies.
- Proven ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable business insights.
- Experience supporting global or regional business organizations.
- Background in sales analytics, commercial performance reporting, or business intelligence.
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations and reports.
