Data Analyst (Fixed-term)

About the Role

As a Project HireData Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining risk databases while formulating techniques for efficient and quality data collection of data systems.

How you'll contribute

• Designs and maintains Risk data systems and databases, including fixing of coding errors and other data-related problems
• Mining and re-organizing data from primary and secondary sources in readable format via data processing programs and reporting tools such as SAS or other similar software
• Collaborates with various data owners or processors through regular discussions to have a better understanding of the data infrastructure and reporting requirements
• Performs analysis to assess data quality through trends and patterns
• Partners with Risk Officers, Business, Credit and Operations, and Data Governance on strategic initiatives for data

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or College degree holder
• At least 4 years of relevant experience
• Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, and data mining techniques
• Must be proficient working with data programming software/tools such as SAS, R, Python
• Has the ability to analyze and organize large amounts of data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Thorough understanding of management and data administration duties such as collection, analysis, distribution, and governance
