THE ROLE

As a Data Analyst, you will embed within a high-growth digital platform engagement, owning the analytical work that drives experimentation, funnel optimization, and platform performance. Engagements at this scale generate rich, high-volume transactional data across user behavior, pricing, and demand patterns. The work spans experiment design, friction point diagnosis, and stakeholder-ready analysis — all oriented toward faster, better-grounded decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform & Operational Analytics

  • Analyze data to identify behavioral patterns, drop-off points, and the effectiveness of business interventions across the customer lifecycle
  • Identify patterns across time, geography, or customer segments that point to inefficiencies or untapped opportunities
  • Monitor marketplace health metrics and proactively surface anomalies, inefficiencies, and friction points across the platform
  • Support decision-making by quantifying the impact of operational and commercial levers, and translating findings into actionable recommendations

Experimentation & Growth Analysis

  • Design and analyze A/B tests and switchback experiments across acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention funnels
  • Interpret experiment results and translate statistical findings into clear business recommendations
  • Quantify the expected and realized impact of growth initiatives to support ROI-based prioritization

Reporting & Decision Support

  • Build and maintain dashboards that track growth KPIs, funnel performance, and platform health for operational and leadership teams
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, Product, and Leadership teams to address analytical needs, responding to ad hoc requests with speed and clarity, and structuring outputs for both technical and non-technical audiences.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in data analytics; experience in a consumer marketplace, mobility, or gig economy platform is an advantage
  • Strong SQL skills; able to independently query large, high-volume transactional datasets
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and statistical testing
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks including A/B testing, switchback testing, funnel analysis, and causal inference basics
  • Experience with modern data warehouses like Google BigQuery, and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or equivalent
  • Exposure to geospatial data and tools is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills; able to present findings clearly and make a case for action to non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating at pace with ambiguous briefs, shifting priorities, and minimal oversight
